Super Bee Services ("Super Bee", "we", "us", "our") is an international courier service registered in Malaysia (SSM 002840898-V) and based in Kuala Lumpur. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data about you when you use our services or visit our website.
This policy is issued in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") of Malaysia. By using our services or this website, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described below.
2. Personal data we collect
To provide you with courier services, we collect the following personal data:
- Identification: your name and the name of the recipient.
- Contact details: phone number, email address, WhatsApp/WeChat ID.
- Address details: your pickup address, the recipient's delivery address.
- Shipment details: contents of the parcel, weight, dimensions, declared value, customs information.
- Payment information: bank transfer reference details. We do not store credit card or bank account numbers.
- Communications: messages exchanged with our team via WhatsApp, WeChat, email or phone.
- Website analytics: if you visit our website, anonymised data such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, country (via Google Analytics).
3. Why we collect it
We process your personal data only for these purposes:
- To arrange courier collection, delivery and tracking of your parcel.
- To complete customs declarations required by Malaysian and destination-country authorities.
- To process payment and issue receipts.
- To contact you about your shipment, including delays or customs queries.
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotations.
- To comply with our legal obligations under Malaysian tax, customs and trade laws.
- To improve our website and service quality (via anonymised analytics).
4. Who we share it with
We share your personal data only with parties necessary to deliver your parcel:
- Courier partners — SF Express, FedEx, UPS, Aramex, City-Link, KEX Express and other authorised carriers, who require recipient details to deliver the parcel.
- Customs and government authorities — Royal Malaysian Customs and equivalent agencies in the destination country, where required by law.
- Banks and payment processors — for receiving payment.
- Service providers — including Google (Analytics, Maps, Workspace) under their respective privacy terms.
We do not sell your personal data, share it for marketing purposes with third parties, or transfer it outside the parties listed above.
5. International transfers
Because we provide international shipping, your personal data may be transferred to courier partners and customs authorities outside Malaysia. We only share what is strictly necessary to deliver your parcel.
6. How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary:
- Shipment records and invoices: at least 7 years, as required by Malaysian tax law (Income Tax Act 1967).
- WhatsApp/WeChat conversations: typically up to 3 years for customer-service purposes.
- Website analytics: anonymised; retained per Google's standard retention.
After the retention period, your personal data is deleted or fully anonymised.
7. Your rights under the PDPA
As a data subject under Malaysia's PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or outdated information.
- Limit how we process your data, where lawful.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential uses (e.g. marketing — though we do not send marketing).
- Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia (pdp.gov.my) if you believe we have mishandled your data.

8. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses essential cookies to remember your language preference (English / 中文 / Bahasa Malaysia) and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics data is anonymised and does not personally identify you. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
9. Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data, including secure communication channels, restricted internal access, and physical security at our Kuala Lumpur office. However, no transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
